This is my friend Sara, one of the coolest women I know. She is incredibly talented, smart, fearless and beautiful but known for her fantastic, bubbly and outgoing personality. People are drawn to her and she makes every single person she comes in contact with feel special. She recently posted a wonderful video on Instagram about mental health that really resonated with me. One of the points she made was that when someone is suffering, sometimes people tend to pull away because they don’t know how to deal with the person. I see this a lot and have experienced it in the past. It’s a horrible feeling to have people pull back when you need them most because they don’t know how to deal with someone in crisis.
